Drink deeply in 2012

Happy New Year everyone!  Welcome to my year in pictures.  Here is picture number 1!  As you can probably guess, this picture was taken last night as we celebrated ringing in the new year - with grape juice, of course!  We had a fun time with friends and family - the things with which I'd like to fill the year.

So why drink deeply?  Because sometimes that's the only way you can get a good taste of something.  The thing we must ask ourselves is "Of what do I want to drink deeply?".  We have a choice in this life.  For the most part, we are not force fed.  We make choices every day that determine what we will drink.  What will it be for you in 2012?  For me, I will choose things like friends and family, peace, kindness, wisdom, graciousness, generosity, activity, adventure - and the list goes on and on. 

I will step into 2012 with intention and aware that it is a new year.  I have a chance to make a positive impact on the world and so do you - take that opportunity to learn something.  Spending a year blogging my life in pictures is going to teach me things.  I don't know what exactly, but I know I'll learn something because I will be challenged to find a picture every day that represents life.  I'll try to keep the commentary short, but we'll see...
