A beautiful day for a run with friends.

I started today with a run with friends - a great way to get going.  We ran one of our usual routes and here are a couple of things we saw along the way.

Here are my running buds at our first turnaround point.  We ran the trail for as far as it goes - for now.  Pretty soon, we will be able to continue, but until they build a bridge, this is as far as we go!

This is our 2nd turnaround point - the turtles.  But there are no turtles because it is January and they will not venture back out for quite some time.  This is a highlight of our run, because we usually stop and see if we can spot any turtles - even when we know they won't be out. 

This is a pic of my running buddies moving on - we were almost finished and I think they were ready to go get something to eat!

And, so, here we are after we got something to eat (Anna and Caroline joined us today), enjoying a few last minutes of visiting before we have to venture back into our own worlds.  It's always nice to enjoy some time with good friends.
